Technology

At Roshe Dental, we believe that the latest dental technologies allow us to provide the best possible treatment for our patients. With modern technology, we can improve your dental experience by shortening your treatment time and keeping you comfortable.

Below, you will find some of the ways we use technology to enhance your dental visits.

Digital X-Rays and Sensors

Dental x-rays are integral to diagnosing dental issues and creating effective treatment plans. At Roshe Dental, we use digital x-rays to see inside and between your teeth and detect any signs of gum disease, bone loss, or infection.

Our digital x-rays use about 80 percent less radiation than traditional x-rays, allowing us to show you the results on a screen and store your x-rays for future use.

To make it even better, we use digital sensors to capture the x-rays; this keeps you comfortable and enhances the quality of the images.

CBCT Cone Beam Technology

We use Cone Beam Computed Tomography, or CBCT, to provide images of all your mouth’s structures. CBCT technology gives us digital images of your upper and lower jaw and your tooth’s roots, canals, and sinuses.

The process is simple; you will stand in front of the CBCT machine, and it does the rest by rotating around your head. Our special software produces a 3-D image that can be used to create treatment plans for dental implants, root canals, and extractions.

Panoramic X-Rays

When digital x-rays aren’t enough, we use panoramic x-rays to see your entire mouth in one image. A panoramic x-ray shows how your upper and lower teeth work together, giving us the information we need to identify impacted teeth, diagnose tumors or cysts, and plan orthodontic treatment, dental implant placement, and extractions.

Even if we don’t need a panoramic x-ray to diagnose your dental issues, we sometimes use them as an alternative for children or special needs patients who may require accommodations.

Digital Impressions

With digital impressions, we no longer subject you to inaccurate, messy dental impressions involving the gooey paste and large metal tray. At Roshe Dental, we use state-of-the-art imaging technology to take precise impressions of your teeth. We can capture digital images of your entire mouth using a handheld intraoral camera. This helps us create more accurate treatment plans for our patients.

Digital Records

In this technological age, it only makes sense that your medical history, dental charts, x-rays, and intraoral images are stored digitally in our dental office. With digital records, we can improve your treatment outcomes and the efficiency of your visits because your records are so easily accessible.

With just the touch of a button, we can even send your digital records to your insurance company or an outside specialist.

Laser Whitening

Dental lasers are becoming more common for periodontal treatment, but did you know you can use a laser to whiten your teeth? At Roshe Dental, we can help you achieve whiter, brighter teeth using a dental laser combined with prescription-strength whitening gel.

The light from the laser activates the whitening gel and breaks down any discoloration or stains, giving you a more beautiful smile.

Rotary Endodontics

Root canal therapy used to require you to be in the dental chair for an extended period of time, making it difficult for many patients. With rotary endodontics, we can decrease your treatment time and avoid many of the noises and vibrations associated with a root canal.

Rotary endodontics technology allows us to complete precise and reliable root canal treatment while giving you a more comfortable and efficient dental experience.

Intraoral Camera

Our intraoral camera is a small, handheld camera that lets you see what we see, eliminating your dental anxiety and informing you about your oral health. We can easily capture images of your teeth and gums and explain your dental issues.

We use the intraoral camera to discuss your treatment plan with you, making you part of the decision-making process and educating you about your oral health. We can also easily store your dental images in your records for future reference.

3-D Printer

At Roshe Dental, we understand how valuable your time is, so we have an in-office 3-D printer that can create a retainer while you wait comfortably in your treatment room. We send digital images of your mouth to the 3-D printer, and before you know it, you will have a custom retainer to complete your orthodontic treatment.
