The Clear Aligners Process
When you visit our dental office for a clear aligners consultation, we will take digital x-rays to evaluate your dental needs and determine whether you are a candidate for clear aligners. Because we offer both Invisalign and ClearCorrect, Dr. Roshe can recommend which type of clear aligners would work best for your dental situation and smile goals.
If you are eligible for clear aligners, we will take the necessary impressions to create your clear aligners. Using these impressions, we will create a step-by-step treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Once your treatment plan is complete, we will send your impressions to our dental lab, where your customized clear aligners will be made.
Comfortable and Discreet Treatment
Your clear aligners will fit snugly over your teeth and gently shift them into the desired position. You will change to a new set of aligners every two to three weeks until your treatment is complete.
You should wear your clear aligners for 22 hours daily, removing them only to eat, brush, and floss your teeth. Because you can remove them, you can more easily maintain your oral health.
